Ferry Back to Doolin from Inis Mór

Difficulty Easy

After a day spent exploring the windswept beauty and ancient heritage of Inis Mór, we board the ferry for a scenic return journey to the mainland—this time docking in the charming coastal village of Doolin. The voyage across Galway Bay offers a fresh perspective on the Aran Islands as they slowly fade into the Atlantic, their limestone cliffs and patchwork fields leaving a lasting impression behind you.

As the ferry glides toward the Clare coastline, keep your eyes on the horizon. Weather permitting, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Cliffs of Moher rising dramatically from the sea—an unforgettable sight from the water. The crossing is a time to relax, reflect, and let the pace of island life gently settle into memory as the rhythm of the ocean guides you back to shore.

Arriving in Doolin, you’re welcomed into one of Ireland’s most beloved music villages, known for its vibrant trad sessions and friendly atmosphere. With your feet back on the mainland, you’ll find yourself perfectly placed for the next chapter of the Kingdom of Rebels tour—one that continues through wild landscapes, rich folklore, and heartfelt hospitality.
