If you’re looking for something different—something away from the crowds but full of heart and history—then the Ancient Voyage is the tour for you. Over five unforgettable days, you’ll journey through Ireland’s Ancient East, exploring sacred sites, charming villages, windswept coastlines, and lively towns steeped in thousands of years of stories.

From monastic ruins and medieval cities to crystal workshops and coastal lighthouses, this tour blends timeless history with authentic local culture. You’ll meet the people who bring these places to life, travel through postcard-perfect landscapes, and enjoy a truly immersive experience—all without the stress.

    What to Expect

Your journey begins in Dublin and heads south into the hills of Wicklow to explore Glendalough, one of Ireland’s most iconic monastic sites. You’ll stop at lesser-known gems like Hollywood village and Rathgall Ringfort, where ancient history meets rural tranquillity, before settling into the medieval charm of Kilkenny City.

From there, the tour winds its way through the heart of County Wexford. Explore the serene grounds of Johnstown Castle, climb the spiral staircase of Hook Lighthouse, and enjoy a guided walking tour of Wexford Town, where Viking and Norman influences still shape the streets.

Next, you’ll cross into Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, where Waterford Crystal and the Viking Triangle await. A scenic journey along the Copper Coast leads you to the vibrant port town of Cobh, with its rich maritime heritage and stunning cathedral perched high above the harbour.

The tour continues through East Cork with a visit to the legendary Midleton Distillery, home of Jameson Irish Whiskey, before arriving in Cork City for a walking tour and free time to explore. On the final day, you’ll beat the crowds at Blarney Castle to kiss the famous stone, then stop at the Rock of Cashel—a breathtaking site that perfectly captures the spirit of Ireland’s ancient and sacred past.
